This file enables the communication port(s) on your Macintosh to be used with several applications simultaniously. It should be placed in the Control Panels folder.
This is the list of communication ports (except LineShare “subports”) on your computer. Select a port to customize its sharing options.
Click this button to attach “subports” to this communication port or to detach them.
You cannot attach or detach “subports” while the main port or any of the subports is in use.

Use this pop-up menu to select the method for monitoring the communication line. This method should be compatible with the modem you use.
Use this pop-up menu to control the built-in modem speaker.
Use this pop-up menu to set the modem speaker volume.
Use this pop-ip menu to set the number of incoming rings before the modem answers a call.
